HarborKit Smart Homes is a new, independent home-automation practice based in Renton, Washington — founded by a longtime Apple Home enthusiast who got tired of watching neighbors and friends fight with their smart gear. We serve homeowners across King County who want a smart home that actually works, without it becoming a part-time IT job.

Most smart-home setups fail in the same ways: devices that never quite pair, automations that misfire, apps that proliferate, families that give up and go back to flipping switches. We've spent the last five years going deep on the Apple Home app, Homebridge, and Matter in our own home and for friends and family — learning how to make every other brand of device behave inside one calm control surface.

HarborKit is the business built around that obsession. We're new as a company, which means we're hungry, our calendar is open, and our founding clients get our full attention at honest pricing.
